Adjust which players are copied and how real players appear while you practice. Camera controls, hook aim lines, edge information and finish prediction help you understand the next attempt.

Aspect ratio & performance

Set a custom aspect ratio and shape the view around your preferences. Performance settings let you tune the client for modest computers as well as powerful setups.

Reduce particles, quads and high-detail rendering, use FPS fog and limit map tiles drawn outside its area. Balance visual detail and performance for your hardware.

Arrange an editable HUD with a minimap, compact statboard, keystrokes and finish cards. Configure camera behavior, zoom, motion blur and the Nova cursor.

Reach every team quickly from the Team Panel. Browse teams 0–63, see their players, join a team and use lock or leave controls from one place.

Talk through in-game voice chat on Windows, with push-to-talk, microphone and playback controls. Bring Twitch chat into the game chat, alongside configurable chat colors and translation.

Recognize other players with client indicators for BestClient, RushieClient and AMF Client.

Before you jump in.

What do I need to play?

A Windows x64 PC and a NovaClient key. Join the Nova Discord server to get your key. The client is built on DDNet and TClient and connects to DDNet-compatible servers.

How do I install it?

Download the complete Windows ZIP from the official releases page. Extract all files before starting DDNet.exe. Keep the DLLs and the data folder alongside the executable.

Where do I change my settings?

Open NovaClient and go to its settings. Prediction, interface, appearance and privacy controls are configured there. Available Premium cosmetics depend on your license role.
